Airports: Bergerac is 1hr 20mins away, Poitiers 1hr 45mins, and Limoges and La Rochelle 2hrs.  All these are served by RyanAir (Bergerac also by Flybe); or Bordeaux at 2hrs by British Airways. Angouleme is the closest town with airport at 35mins drive – was served by Ryanair in 2008-9, may be served by Easyjet in 2011.

We are a 5hr drive from St Malo or Caen, 6 from Cherbourg and 8hrs from Boulogne or Calais, both journeys almost all motorway or dual carriageway.

Choice of car hire firms at Angouleme station, easy (and fast) train journey to Paris (3hrs) or Bordeaux (1hr).
