Bergerac is the closest airport at 1hr 20mins drive, then Poitiers at 1hr 45mins, and Limoges and La Rochelle at 2hrs. All these are served by RyanAir (Bergerac also by Flybe); or Bordeaux at 2hrs by British Airways.
We are a 6hr drive from St Malo or Caen, and 8hrs from Boulogne or Calais.
Choice of car hire firms at Angouleme station, easy (and fast) train journey to Paris (3hrs) or Bordeaux (1hr).
We've had these two cottages since 1998 and continue to make improvements each year, often on customers' suggestions.
